| There
are three types of members of PFNDAI. Most of
the members are corporate members wherein company
becomes member and is represented by one nominated
person along with two alternates. In official
meetings of the Association e.g. at Annual General
Meetings and Governing Board Meetings, only
these persons can cast votes. However, for seminars,
conferences, workshops etc. all the employees
of the company get the benefit of membership.
Another
category is Associate Member, which can be availed
of by individuals who are not connected with
any company (e.g. consultants) as well as by
Government agencies, educational and research
institutions etc.
A
few eminent Food Scientists, Nutritionists or
the Educational, Research or Governmental Organisations
of National & International repute may be
made Honorary Members by special resolution
of the Governing Board.
The
form can be downloaded (see link below) that
gives the membership subscription amount to
be paid yearly by different categories of members
and the one-time entrance fee to be paid
when member is to be admitted into the Association.
